You’re going to visit the town of Orange. This Roman town stands out thanks to its remains, especially its majestic Ancient Theatre, the biggest theatre in Imperial Rome and the best preserved in Europe, a UNESCO world heritage site, its Arc de Triomphe… and of course its Art and History museum.

Let’s continue the private tour in Nîmes, known as “the Rome of France”.  A trip back in time and you are guaranteed a complete change of scenery in this town with magnificient reminders of Roman times. Be sure to visit the best preserved Amphitheatre of the Roman period, the Maison Carrée, the only temple of ancient Rome which is entirely preserved, the Tour Magne, the only remaining part of the old Roman walls which overlooks the town, the Jardins de la Fontaine and its numerous museums.

You’ll finish the trip by visiting the Pont du Gard. The famous aqueduct, a UNESCO world heritage site, remains one of the wonders of Roman Antiquity. It is more than 2,000 years old and is located in a unique natural setting.
