You’ll follow the footsteps of Vincent Van Gogh by beginning with Arles, city which fascinated the painter. He stayed there between February 1888 and May 1889, leaving 300 drawings and paintings at the posterity. You can follow the steps of Van Gogh with a walking tour in the city, where you will discover the reproductions of his paintings to every supposed place where Van Gogh would have planted his easel (The Café "the Evening ", The starry night). We will stop at Pont Van Gogh, where the famous painting “Le Pont de Langlois aux lavandières”.
Small roads bordered with fields of olive trees, will take us to explore one of “the most beautiful villages in France": Les Baux de Provence. This unique village, perched on a rocky outcrop 247 m high, will amaze you with its paved streets, its renaissance houses… The baux château, located at the top of the village, offers spectacular views of the vines, the olive groves, the Camargue…as far as the sea.
You can visit the Cathédrale d’images, ancient quarries of 20 meters high, dig by the hand of man, which will allow you to walk in a universe of images and original musics.
We’ll finish this private tour on Van Gogh's road in Saint Rémy de Provence. Interned at the time in the Saint Paul de Mausole Monastery there he painted his greatest masterpieces. You can follow a pedestrian circuit illustrated by 21 reproductions of paintings he painted during his stay at Saint Remy and so you walk in the world of Van Gogh.
